1.- The word "Vintage" is English (vɪntɪdʒ) although it has its origen in the latin Vinum (wine) and the French vendage (wine harvest)

6.- There has also been an increase in sustainability awareness  in terms of reusing, recycling and repairing rather than throwing things away. Sometimes vintage items are upcycled via changing the items giving them a new life.
