5 Reasons why I love Second-hand/ Thrift Shopping

My love for second-hand/ thrift shopping started in England when I lived there, and has been growing ever since. I think it is a bug, once you get it it stays with you for the rest of your life. It is not very common in the South of Spain; although I have found great flea markets under foreign influence, and it is slowly becoming more mainstream.
I could talk for hours of my love for it, but I will stick to 5 reasons based on what it makes me feel.
Mi amor por comprar segunda mano empezó en Inglaterra cuando vivia allí y ha ido creciendo desde entonces. Creo que es un virus, una vez que que lo coges se queda contigo el resto de tu vida. No es muy común en el sur de España; aunque he encontrado muy buenos mercadillos por influencia estranjera en la zona, y lentamente se van popularizando.
Podría hablar horas sobre el tema, pero os daré sólo 5 razones basadas en lo que me hace sentir:

1.- Not knowing what I am going to find. It is like opening parcels on Christmas Day over and over again.
1.- No saber lo que voy a encontrar. Es como abrir los regalos el día de Reyes una y otra vez.

2.- The excitement of the hunt. From the moment I leave the house the adrenaline grows and cannot help the dreams.
2.-La emoción de la caza. Desde el momento que salgo de casa la adrenalina empieza a fluir y no puedes dejar de soñar.

3- In time I have develoved my skills and I can spot items worth having a mile away.
3.-Con el tiempo he desarrollado mi instinto y puedo encontrar gangas a mil kilómetros.

4.- When I am face to face with a pile of clothes it is just them and me, pure meditation in motion.
4.-Cuando estoy frente a la ropa es solamente ella y yo, pura meditación en movimiento.

5.- The finding of pieces with stories to tell that fit me beautifully is mind blowing
5.- Encontrar una prenda con una historia que contar y que me sienta de escándalo es alucinante.
