Inspiration: Richard Saja- Embroidery on Toile de Jouy / Bordado en Tela Jouy

I love textile and embroidery, so you can imagen my excitement about Richard Saja, an accomplished textile artist based in New York whose great originality lies in his ability to give a new lease of life to the toile de Jouy with bright embroidery and, above all, with a wicked sense of humour. He has collaborated with the shoe brand Keds, the fashion designer Christian Lacroix and the British fashion house, Mother of Pearl, among others.
Me encantan las telas y el bordado, así es que os podéis imaginar mi interés por Richard Saja, un consumado artista textil con base en Nueva York cuya gran originalidad radica en haberle dado nueva vida a la tela Jouy bordándoles personajes coloristas con su especial sentido del humor. Ha colaborado con la marca de zapatos Keds, el diseñador Christian Lacroix y la casa inglesa, Mother of Pearls, entre otros.
