Hand Embroidered Skirt - Lace Blouse and Flowers

The skirt which I embroidered years ago is one of my favourite Summer classics. The poor thing has daced with just about every single top in my closet, but yesterday it was lucky. I went into a shop and a lace blouse of the same colour as the skirt called me out load. I stopped, looked at it and without a second thought I bought it and took it home. As soon as I wore them together flowers of joy sprouted  from my waist.
La falda que bordé a mano hace años es uno de mis clásicos de verano favoritos. La pobre ha bailado con casi todos los tops que tengo en el armario, pero ayer tuvo suerte. Entré en una tienda y una camisa de mangas de encaje y de su mismo color me llamó a voces. Yo, me paré, la miré y sin pensarlo dos veces la compré y la llevé a casa. Al ponermelas juntas comenzaron a brotar flores de alegría en mi cintura.
