We visited a small mining village in the heart of the Sierra Morena called " El Centenillo".
Mr. Arthur Hasseldem was the founder in 1898 of the “New Centenillo Silver Lead Mines Company Limited' and made the place look like a British colony which lacked for nothing: school, hospital, market , casino and even a football pitch.
Nowadays it is a holiday place where you can still find cottages and even trees that remind you of England.

Mr. Arthur Hasseldem fue el fundador en 1898 de “New Centenillo Silver Lead Mines Company Limited' e hizo del lugar una auténtica colonia británica que no carecía de nada: escuela, hospital, mercado, casino e incluso un campo de fútbol.
Hoy en día es más un lugar de vacaciones donde todavía se encuentran casas e incluso árboles que recuerdan a Inglaterra.
