I love what you said about stimulating the immune system. I believe that petting animals does the same thing (as well as lowering blood pressure) which is why therapy dogs are becoming such a big thing here.

Being a finn, I have never learnt to be a huggly person. That's perhaps a little bit sad, but us finns are not very physical (neither verbal).. we go for acts of kindness to show our care.
