There are
those who state that fashion is recurrent, that there is no inspiration
around to be seen, and we are therefore forced to drink from past
springs of ideas. This woman though, who looks at us with post-war eyes
and platform shoes speaks of the beauty in those heights, and of the
wonder in the proportions derived from the flounces on her sleeves and
her shoulder pads.
If it suits us, it will always be recurrent and will return over and
over again; in disguise, on tiptoes or simply reborn to us.

Fashion is most definitely recurrent, but that's no bad thing. If something looks good, why not continue to wear it. I love your DIYs. X

Love xxxx
Those gals are so gorgeous, and the brooch is fabulous, you are so talented xxxx
What you say about fashion is really true. As you might know I work in a deparment store. We have a bracelet there which you would probably like: It's a spider who's legs go around your wrist. It's silver and the body of the spider is made of a black stone. It's really elegant and still nourishes the lust for wearing spiders and inspects :) I'll try to remember taking a picture for you.
The images from the 1940's look surprisingly modern, don't they. But I really love your DIY flower and bee brooch. How fun! I want to make myself one.
Hi, here the given pictures gorgeous, share more thank you.
