Rebel Schiaparelli Inspiration

I made this necklace inspired by the rebel Elsa Schiaparelli, a woman who wore insects round her neck while Coco Chanel was in pearls.

I love both the inspiration and the d.i.y. AND the subtle phrase while Coco Chanel wss in pearls. Shiaparalli was a surrealist of the first order and an amazing fashion designer.

OMG I love this necklace!!! I totally want to make one too.

My hair looks short when I make it really curly because the curl takes up more length. The straighter I wear it, the longer it hangs.
