My Fashion DIYs: Three Dimensional Skirt

When I saw this  three dimensional dress in the Nyanci Report,  I knew   I had to try somenthing myself.
1.-I bought material from the market, made a skirt, and cut-out some of the flowers in the print.
2.-I soaked them in starch,  let drip the excess water, and iron damp.
The iron  turns them into paper like material.
3.- Then, stiched them on to the finished skirt.

  80. You are so talented! I can't wait to see the skirt.

Please forgive me for reading, not commenting much, I've been terribly swamped since the day after Christmas but I'm also finding that the excessive keyboarding is inflaming my hands, not a good situation given my history of tendonitis. I am always inspired by style, am here even if you don't hear from me every post.
