When I saw this three dimensional dress in the Nyanci Report, I knew I had to try somenthing myself. 1.-I bought material from the market, made a skirt, and cut-out some of the flowers in the print.
2.-I soaked them in starch, let drip the excess water, and iron damp.
The iron turns them into paper like material.
3.- Then, stiched them on to the finished skirt.
Cuando ví este vestido tridimensional en Nyanci Report, supe que tenía que intentarlo. 1.- Compré tela en el mercado, hice una falda y recorté algunas flores.
2.-Las remojé en una mezcla de almidón y agua, las escurrí y planché húmedas.
La plancha les da una textura de papel.
3.- Las cosí a la falda.
