Birds in full Flight

This will be my last post until august, so I had to say good bye with this vintage flying bird blouse. 
I decided  to be unplugged for 4 weeks in order to dive deep into  the English culture and way of life. England is our second home, and we are longing to blend in  amongst its people and places.  Roaming its green hills, visiting  the local markets and pubs,   hunting for goodies in the carboot sales and Charity Shops.
We will stay with relatives for a week, and the rest of the time, it will just be a family trekking  affair  in Northumberland,  Yorkshire and  the  Lake District..

I will carry my camera everywhere I go, so  you will be in my thoughts  in every shot.

Éste será mi último post hasta agosto, así es que tenía que despedirme con esta blusa vintage de pájaros en vuelo.

Decidí estar desconectada durante 4 semanas para poder sumergirme en profundidad en la cultura inglesa y su forma de vida. Inglaterra es nuestro segundo hogar y estamos deseosos de perdernos entre sus gentes y lugares.  Vagar por sus  verdes colinas, visitar los mercados y pubs, ir a la caza de tesoros en carboot sales y charity shops.

Pasaremos una semana con familiares y amigos  y el resto del tiempo será un trekking  del núcleo familiar  por tierras de Northumberland, Yorkshire y el Distrito de los lagos.

Me llevaré mi cámara a todas partes, así es que estaréis en mi pensamiento con  cada imagen.

Inspiration and Dreams 2012

While I am packing my case  to spend 4 weeks in England completely unplugged, I dream of my favourite inspirations for this coming autumn- winter 2011/ 2012.

I can feel the baroque flair, the excess,  and a touch of  the best 80s.

Mientras hago la maleta para pasar 4 semanas en Inglaterra totalmente desconectada, sueño con mi inspiraciones favorita para este otoño invierno 2011/12.

Puedo sentir el aire barroco, el exceso y un toque de lo mejor de los 80.

Paul Gaugin Meets The Galaxy

I bought this  Paul Gaugin print shirt in Berlin, but I didn´t know that it would fall in love with my  galaxy skirt at first sight.
Things and  people intended for each other always meet...
Compré esta camisa con estampado de Paul Gaugin en Berlín, pero lo que no sabía es que se enamoraría de mi falda de galaxia a primera vista.

We live in one of the hottest areas of Andalusia, so taking any  outside photos is a whole adventure at 40ºc plus...

Vivimos  en una de las zonas más calurosas de Andalucía, así es que hacer fotos en exteriores a 40ºc plus es toda una aventura.

Summer Haircut & Logos

                           I want to be a cloud to shelter your dreams,

 I was given a belt with large D&G letters, and  as much as I love these designers,  I could  never wear theirs or anybody elses LOGO.

If somebody perceives the maker of what I am wearing, let it be for the design, the texture, the cut, the print, the feel or the originality of the composition.

How do you feel about wearing LOGOS?

Me regalaron un cinturón con grandes letras D&G y; auque me encantan estos diseñadores, no pude ponerme su  LOGO o el de ningún otro.

Si alguien percibe el hacedor de mi atuendo o complemento, que sea por el diseño, la textura, el corte, el estampado, el feeling o la originalidad de la composición.

I have had my extreme summer haircut, so I decided to share it with you wearing this blue skirt ( Málaga flea market) and a top, made by my sister many years ago.
