Oscar de La Renta meets Emilio Pucci

A while ago, I found this Oscar de la Renta  nightgown  in the lingerie basket of  an English charity shop. I bought it for 1 pound,  and left it in the wardrobe for the right time to wear.
I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw the similarity with  Emilio Pucci´s 2011 Spring/ Summer collection.
I am wearing it with a cotton and lace maxi skirt, a flea market black  belt,  and a 70s  white handbag bought in Berlin.

I gasped at how beautiful the "nightgown" was. This is a great example of thinking outside-of-the-box, as they say. From time to time, I will look at satin pajama bottoms as outerwear, but this is just wonderful and none of us would ever have known if you hadn't told!!
