The streets of Málaga

Walking through the streets of Málaga I found this little shrine in the wall. Looking at it  came to my mind the clashing of cultures in this city:  modern and  traditional blending together.

I love  visiting  markets to get to know the real heart of a town.
I am wearing : -Top H&M
                         - Skirt Marks &Spencer ( Ebay)
                         - Belt and pendant from a flea market.

You look beautiful and the photos of the shrine are fascinating! I would be so interested to know what sort of a role Catholicism plays in the Spain of today!

May I ask if you live in Malaga? I would love to travel in that area!:)

Enjoy your week and thank you for sharing the beauty you see all around you (and in you!).

next time you go, you should post a little about those olives and the varieties you have in spain. just a thought. it's so exciting where you live how each town has its own history quite unique from the towns near by since the distances were greater (culturally speaking) than today b/c of technology.

Love your combination of stripes and dots, Sacramento. I very much agree with you, it's a question of rhythm. Sometimes I post every day, sometimes only every 2nd or third... depending on time and if I've got something to share. The most important thing is that it stays fun and doesn't become a burden, no?

Alice in vintageland dijo...

I'm always amazed by how fresh and wonderful your style is: I love polka dots and stripes together! I also enjoy going to markets and generally walking around the city and observing everything. As for the frequency of posting - I agree with you, everybody has his own rhythm.
